A longtime member of PCC, Jim is a highly respected member of the community.  His better half, Carol, was born and raised in Plain prior to meeting her future husband at Central Washington University.  They have been blessed with three sons, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  A World War II veteran, Jim became a physical education teacher and coach in Leavenworth before moving the family to Moses Lake.  There as Athletic Director, Jim created a wrestling program, eventually emulated by other school districts throughout Washington, which earned him a place in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater Oklahoma.
