While in a coastal province, a unique opportunity was presented to help churches in the rural areas which not pastors.  Qualified Bible teachers from the city church have arranged to bring together Christian men and women of excellent character from the countryside to train them in the Bible.  These people have no money to attend the sessions, so we have partnered to help provide the necessary transportation, housing, food, Bibles and teaching materials which will equip them with basic Bible knowledge. 

They will return to their villages to begin evangelizing and teaching the Bible to their fellow villagers.  This work is done quietly, without oversight of Chinese government authorities.  Therefore, names, places and reports must remain anonymous.  How then can we be sure our funds are effectively reaching their intended goal?  PCC suppored this couple for many years while they lived in China.  They personally know those involved, and are able to forward the funds and keep track of the process.
