...Meet the Board of Trustees

These are the guys that serve with our pastor, staff and congregation to
"find the mind of the Lord as direction and functioning of this church." (PCC Constitution and By-laws)

Who am I outside PCC?

What's favorite Bible story?

How's God blessed PCC?

Ken Solem

My wife Sabrina and I are in our third decade in Plain. We have three adult sons, Joel, Jordan and Taylor. I manage the horse program at Stonewater Ranch, a ministry of Youth Dynamics.

God through Joshua led the Israelites to the Promised Land, which is a story of trust, obedience, and courage to believe and press on against overwhelming odds.  I love that!

God has blessed PCC by gathering an amazing body of believers, where we are a church who loves God, and are able to serve him and others because  we generously give finances and time.

Joe Lemley

A cabinet maker for over 25 years, I have been married to Enid even longer.  We have two adult children and a very good dog. I enjoy living here where I can hike and experience the wonders of God.

I relate well to these statements: 'For me and my house we will serve the Lord' from Joshua, and from Peter when Christ asked 'will you leave also?' Peter replied 'To whom else would I turn?'

PCC is blessed with a diverse range of denominational backgrounds, spiritual levels, ages, talents and gifts of God that respectfully and harmoniously allow us to minister and meet each other's needs.

Eric Warthen

I've got a great family - my wife, Mari Lynn, and kids, Max, Joy, Grace and Faith.  I manage, by God's grace, to run two small businesses.  We are in the middle of our second decade in Plain and love making this our home.

I have always been drawn into the story of David's life.  As a teen I cherished both David's heart for God, as well as his relationship with Jonathan (of brotherly love) - strong desires for my own life.

PCC is blessed by a great heritage.  God has placed amazing people here for generations.  He is equipping His body in Plain for many good works, as He has done in years past.

Thom Cook

I teach economics at a community college, have been married since I was 20 years old to Linda, and we have two daughters and five grandchildren.  I can't seem to get any better, but I play lots of golf.

Not sure that I have a first choice, but Christ turns me in another direction with the parable of the prodigal son.  Work for reward is standard in economics, but grace is freely available and celebrated.

We have been blessed with a community we can easily love in hope of partially demonstrating the more attractive love and blessing God has for everyone who would seek him.
