The Vision of the PCC Missions Commission
To partner with the missionaries and ministries supported through PCC in advancing God’s Kingdom; engage the congregation with these missions; encourage each member to share Christ’s love and the good news of the gospel.
The PCC Missions Commission defines “Missions” as any endeavor, outside of the ministries of our local congregation, to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20), by proclaiming the gospel of Christ, making disciples, and addressing the whole need of mankind, spiritually, physically and socially.
As a church body we also have “outreach” ministries that seek to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ, that do not fall under the responsibility of the Missions Commission.
As individuals we are all personally called to be missionaries by fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ, in our homes, community, church ministries, etc. These endeavors do not fall under the responsibility of Missions Commission.
