Plain Community Church, through the congregation's regular offerings supports Pierre & Natalie through Commission to Every Nation (CTEN) their sending agency. The funds coming from PCC go straight to paying the Haitian staff, changing their lives. Some of the staff were hired because they were about to place their special needs children in to orphanages. PCC is helping Haitian families stay together.

Individuals may also support Pierre & Natalie through PCC or CTEN.

One Gift, One Child exists to provide a safe place for vulnerable children to come and receive healing through love, nurture, discipleship and counseling all while fighting to stay in a family unit.  One Gift, One Child
  • seeks to show value to those who are abused, neglected, thrown away and looked down upon by the Haitian culture.
  • rescues children out of institutions and prepares them to go back into a family setting (biological or foster).
  • walks alongside Haitian families, specifically those who are abused or have special needs children.
The main goal is to provide EVERY child a safe environment where they are protected from abuse, trafficking and slavery. If a child cannot be reunited with their family, then a Haitian foster family will be raised up in order to ensure children are in a loving home versus an institution.  They work to prevent orphans by empowering families to keep their children or take back their children they have given away.  They know that God has a plan to redeem every family in Haiti. God values every, single child and there is never one that is too lost for God to find.

The founders of One Gift, One Child came together with a dynamic friendship in 2005. In August of 2007, they were joined together through marriage, vision and passion for the island of Haiti. Pierre is a native Haitian who grew up in St. Marc. Life was never easy but there was strong evidence of the Lord having His Hand upon Pierre as he grew up with strong education. He knew he was called to his home country and therefore pursued missions opportunities in his hometown. Natalie grew up in cold southern Wisconsin (with sister Erin Boyes who attends Plain Community Church) and barely even knew where Haiti was on the map. But having opportunities to travel from a young child, instilled a desire to experience life outside of her small town. One Gift, One Child came together in the first ten years of their relationship and then marriage. Natalie knew that she was called to orphans and Pierre Richard knew that he was called to discipleship, pastors and the youth. They lived together in The States so that they could finish their college degrees and also gain ministry experience before launching their own ministry.
